This Privacy Policy explains how Tunnelwave handles information. Tunnelwave is a lightweight arcade game by BattouGames.

Information Stored On Your Device

Tunnelwave may store gameplay progress and settings locally on your device, including coins, owned themes, selected badges, options, daily challenge progress, and local Hall of Fame names and scores. This local data is used to run the game and keep your preferences.

Global Hall Of Fame

Tunnelwave may include an optional global Hall of Fame. If you submit a score to the global Hall of Fame, the player name you enter, your score, selected badge, game mode, app version, season, and update time may be stored using Firebase (Cloud Firestore) and shown publicly in the game's global leaderboard. Local Hall of Fame scores remain stored only on your device unless a score is submitted to the global Hall of Fame.

The player name you enter is shown publicly to other players. Please do not use your real name, an email address, or anything else you would not want to be public. You can change your name in the game at any time, and changing it also updates the name on your existing entry.

Tunnelwave does not ask you to create an account and has no password. So that your own entry can be updated rather than duplicated on every run, the game signs in to Firebase anonymously. This produces a random identifier, stored on your device, that is not linked to your Google account, your email address, or your name. Tunnelwave does not send your email address, contacts, phone number, precise location, or advertising identifier to the global Hall of Fame.

Analytics

Tunnelwave uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played and to improve balance, stability, usability, and future updates. Analytics events may include gameplay actions such as tutorial progress, run starts and finishes, score, zone reached, risk gates, pickups, selected themes or field skins, purchases completed through Google Play, and similar in-game events.

Google Analytics for Firebase may also collect app-instance identifiers, advertising identifiers, app lifecycle information, session information, in-app purchase events, and approximate location derived from masked IP address. Tunnelwave does not request precise GPS location.

Analytics data is transmitted using encryption in transit. This data is not used to let users create accounts in Tunnelwave.

Advertising

Tunnelwave may show rewarded ads or interstitial ads through Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK. Tunnelwave does not use banner ads. Where required, Google may show a consent or privacy options form before ads are requested. Advertising partners may collect or process information, including advertising identifiers, as described in their own privacy policies and data sharing requirements.

Purchases

Tunnelwave may offer in-app purchases for virtual coins or other in-game content. Purchases are processed by Google Play. Tunnelwave does not directly receive your payment card details.

Data Deletion Requests

Locally stored game data is removed by uninstalling Tunnelwave or clearing the app's storage in your device settings.

Uninstalling does not remove a global Hall of Fame entry you have already submitted, because that entry is stored with Firebase and not on your device. To have it removed, email BattouGames at battougames@gmail.com with the player name on the entry. Uninstalling also deletes the anonymous identifier held on your device, so afterwards the player name is the only way left to find your entry - if you intend to ask for removal, it is easier to ask first.

Children

Tunnelwave is not directed to children and is not designed for them. It is rated and listed for a general audience, and its advertising and analytics are configured on that basis. If that ever changes, this policy and the store listing will be updated to match.

Safety Notice

Tunnelwave contains bright neon visuals, rapid motion, screen rotation, and flashing light effects. Stop playing immediately if you feel dizzy, nauseous, disoriented, notice vision changes, twitching, or any seizure-like symptoms. If you or your family has a history of epilepsy or seizures, consult a doctor before playing.

Changes

This policy is updated when what Tunnelwave actually does changes - for example if the global Hall of Fame, purchases, analytics or advertising change, or if a store requirement does. The date at the top is the last change.
